▶Summary
This project aims at strengthening political activism, waking up individuals and promoting a personal struggle that leads to a common victory. In today's world, the personal is political and the private is political, and we are all strong and need to improve this world. The fact is that people around the world are mostly illiterate in the media, critically subconscious and politically passive, and this project was needed because it aims to educate. It seems that no system is built in the interests of a common citizen. Organizations that have created this project work with vulnerable groups based on their previous experience. In their statutes, youth and young people have values such as improving the community in which they operate. Its goals are to promote cultural, educational and activist values. This project allowed the exchange of knowledge and reaching of common conclusions, improving each individual local environment. The project acted on prevention, because we want to work on prevention and not wait for the consequences.
▶Objectives
There are different forms of political and cultural activism in each of the partners’ countries, and within the EU. Youth participation in political decisions and induction of initiatives is an important concern to show in a lively democracy. Especially in times when radicalization tendencies are becoming more visible again, it is particularly important to show democratic means to participate in socially relevant issues that strengthen the values of the European Union and allow all citizens to participate equally. This is the only way to ensure social inclusion - a society in which every person is accepted and can participate in it on an equal basis and independently - regardless of gender, age or origin, religious affiliation or education, any disabilities or other individual characteristics. The aims of the project are to collect various methods of political action from the 3 project countries and thus to create a set of methods for radical-free political activism and critical thinking. The project will foster the development of social, civic and intercultural competences and tackle discrimination, segregation, racism.
