Objectives

O1 - Develop new teaching methods that link ARTS to the Environment and General Knowledge among 18 teachers during 18 months. O2-Develop eco-friendly attitudes both in class and outside school among 72 students within 18 project months. O3- Reduce discrimination attitudes towards vulnerable groups by including 18 students coming from disadvantaged groups from the three schools. O4 - Reduce the negative effects of COVID-19 pandemic at emotional level of our students by providing opportunities of socialization, free expression, share experience and knowledge in a safe, multicultural environment within a period of 18 months. O5-Develop key competences among students such as: communication in mother tongues, communication in foreign language, digital competence, mathematical competence, cultural awareness and expression,entrepreneurship,social and civic competence, learning to learn, etc that will be certified in an Europass in order to be recognised for future studies or jobs.

Activities

The project included project management and implementation activities, a student exchange in Romania, a student exchange in Poland and a student exchange in Turkey. Project management activities took place in every phase of the project : preparation ( with promotion of the project at schools level and in the local media, the selection of students and teachers, the preparation of the mobilities, communication with the partners and local stakeholders, monitoring and measuring the impact of the activities, etc), dissemination (with articles published in the local media and events organised in schools or in the local community). The 3 student exchanges had a duration of 5 days and 2 travel days, each of them having a different theme related to the project. The programme included Art workshops in schools and outdoor, cultural visits, activities aiming at raising awareness regarding the importance of protecting the natural environment, activities with impact in the local community, meetings with local stakeholders, etc. The project also included a number of local activities, carried out in the period between the student exchanged that included, creative recycling, greening, exhibitions, participation in local contests, etc.

Impact

The tangible results were: - nine shop windows from the old town of Bistrita decorated with eco-friendly ornaments - Three 3D models reusing plastic and industrial wastes and traditional artwork workshop - will be created by the participants during the student exchange in Turkey - a song album with green songs produced during the mobility in Turkey -- a handbook of innovative eco-friendly methods regarding the teaching of different ARTS - a project facebook page - an eTwinning page of the project - a catalogue with the works of Art created by the students in the three mobilities - 90 certificates of participation for the teachers and students involved in the three mobilities - 3 power point presentation used during the dissemination phase - an article published for a teacher training journal in Yunusemre - a Final dissemination event organised by LACB in school where all final results will be presented to teachers, students, parents, key stakeholders
