Objectives

The project aims at enhancing safe device use for educational purposes. O1 Creating a learning environment to acquire digital skills and integrate them in the educational process using devices for 80 teachers, 800 disadvantaged high schoolers and 800 parents in 4 partner high schools O2 Raising the number of beneficiaries who use devices as an efficient learning tool O3 Increasing parents’ awareness of the safe use of modern technology (from 200 parents to 800- 75%) until June, 2023 as compared to January1, 2021 One of the important objectives of school education is building skills and abilities, and in this respect technology can be used as a means of integrated education. In the future education will be highly computerized, so the younger generation should have competencies in using the technology, just as past generations used the paper and the pencil in their times. The project supports innovative practices in a digital area by introducing devices as an efficient learning toolThrough the inclusion of the 800 high school students from disadvantaged groups , we will ensure social inclusion.

Activities

Project activities will be organized in a sequential, end-to-start order, that is, linking the end event of the previous activity to the beginning of the next activity. For children: monthly learning workshops will start in the 4th month of the project with every month dedicated to a web2tool. The monthly frequency keeps up children's interest and empowers them to practice and improve the assimilated knowledge. The workshops will be integrated into the daily routine For parents: there will be 1 Parenting course on how to handle children’s use of technology, in the 6th month of the project, and 1 course on safe use of electronic devices in the13th month of the project. This course will raise awareness of the parents’ decisive role in the teenagers relationship with the 'devices and connection to the virtual world and will analyze good practice in using devices at home. The teachers will participate to monthly activities, and responsibilities will be shared equitably to avoid stress. They will participate to 2 courses on improving digital competences. These training events will be organized by teachers or volunteers and will benefit from the presence of students.

Impact

Output 1-Methodical Guideline for the Integration of Digital Applications in the Didactic Scenario in English and project languages; raise up to 90% of teachers using devices to facilitate learning; raise up to 75% of the number of disadvantaged students using devices as a learning tool; O3 Increasing parents’ awareness of the safe use of modern technology (from 200 parents to 600- 75%) until June, 2023 as compared to january1, 2021 Results: Output 2-A Guide of Good Practices (in English and project languages) to be used by parents to ensure safety use of electronic devices; 600 trained parents through a course on parenting on safe use of technology, and more parents aware of how to safeguard their children when using such technology. The use of devices in high-schools facilitates the transmission and assimilation of new knowledge in an attractive way, thus raising the efficiency and the quality of learning.new skills for 80 teachers, 1 course for 600 parents; modern learning environment, 100 printed advertising brochures; 10 advertising materials in the media (like press or TV).A Guide of Good Practices (in English and project languages) to be used by parents to ensuresafety use of electronic devices;
