Objectives

The main aim of the project was to increase the degree of socio-economic inclusion and personal development (empowerment) of women from rural areas from project partners countries. We totally achieved all the specific planned objectives. We realized the development of knowledge, skills and working procedures within rural women's organizations in the countries of the project partners through co-creating an innovative working method "ABLE" (Curriculum Training and Online Platform MOCC with 15 Modules with self-assessment). We developed the competencies of the 20 coordinators of women's organizations to work through the ABLE Method with 200 women in rural organizations through participation in a training session (LTTA/ 4 days of learning). We realized a personal development of 200 beneficiaries (women from rural areas) through implementing the "ABLE" working methods in rural women's organizations from project partnership countries, and through creating individual life stories (the basis of the book "My Story"). We realized a European awareness of the importance of personal growing and empowerment of women from rural areas from our partnership countries by conducting a permanent dissemination European Campaign.

Activities

We realised all planned project management activities (Kick off meeting, online meetings, TPM1 in Spain, TPM2 in Italy, TPM3 in Portugal and TPM4 in Romania). We implemented permanent activities for monitoring and evaluating quantitative and qualitative all the project activities, results and planned indicators. We implement our “green plan” for respecting the environment in all our activities. We realised a permanent communication of our project internally (partner institutions, learners, experts, trainers, managers) and externally (at local, national and international level). We have promoted permanent our project and also, we disseminate our project results into all project partners community of practices. We realized all the planned results of the project, respective: Result 1: IO1 - Joint Curriculum Training Scheme/ in six languages (English, Romanian, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Catalan), theoretically base for R2; Result 2: IO2 - Platform ABLE with self-assessment/ in six languages (English, Romanian, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Catalan), base for the community work with women and R3. Result 3: IO3 – The book My Story (stories, interviews and testimonials from women life), books realized by Euro Project Lab ( Italy), RWoL and TON (Romania), Form2You ( Portugal). We organized the LTTA for 20 women coordinators in Spain, a learning process of 4 days of work in which they accumulate knowledge and skills ( through the ABLE Platform) about: associative life in community and in a women organization, about European policies for women, “purple economy”, “work life balance”, about self-expressing through storytelling and drama activities, about digital tools needed into a women organization promotion campaign, about recyclability and green activities for a sustainable environment. We have worked at local and national levels with women organizations, with women coordinators of women organizations, we developed training for our beneficiaries in which we have teach them how they can use the ABLE Platform for gaining knowledge into a very accessible way for growing the community and European spirit, for the self-development of each individual.

Impact

The concrete outputs and the results of our project are: R1/ IO1: 1 Joint Curriculum "ABLE" Training scheme (15 Modules with self-assessment) realized into an international partnership that constituted the representation of ABLE Method (Story Telling combined with methods and techniques from Drama, participatory methods and awareness of the term WLB, Purple economy and other European policies regarding women). Added value of this result is the implementation with 15 Modules instead of 14 as planned, the fact that the Spanish partner also contributed with their expertise growing 1 Module/ Modul 2 and Modul 15) and the fact that is realized in six languages instead of five (it was planned to be realized in English, Romanian, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish and is realized also in Catalan). R2/ IO2 -ABLE Platform (15 Modules with self-assessment) https://a-betterlife.eu/course ABLE interactive platform (with 15 MOOC Modules & self-assessment) is a user-friendly digital space where women from rural areas, woman organizations coordinators and experts can develop their knowledge, competences and abilities in social-community sustainable work (realize a self- evaluation after each module realized with interactive Genially Digital Tool) and enjoy their trainings learnings and practice according to their interests. Each module can be worked separately for making the access easier and accordingly with each individual beneficiary interest. The ABLE Interactive Platform is based on ABLE Joint Curriculum (with 15 MOOC Modules and self-assessment). The enrolment is very accessible for each user https://a-betterlife.eu/course The Platform can be used in six languages: English, Romanian, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish and Catalonian. Module 1: How to start a local women empowerment group or a Women Association Module 2: Digital Communication Tools Module 3: How to decide if you want to run a local women group or a formal women association Module 4: How to use Purple Economy in women’s lives Module 5: WLB (Work Life Balance) Module 6: WLB (Work Life Balance) & European dimension Module 7: Introduction in Storytelling Module 8: Technical parts in Building-up a Story Module 9: Creating characters for a storytelling Module 10: Storytelling & participative Method Module 11: Introduction to Drama Expression Module 12: Drama exercises in growing the trust into your community group Module 13: Discover your personal story (Personal Narrative) Module 14: My Story: My Community & I Module 15: Compost & organic trash-how it works and how to apply Initially conceived with 14 Modules for learning and individual assessment, the ABLE Platform has an added value in that the partner from Spain initiated the integration of their experience regarding digital literacy of adults (Module 2) and Recycling in the rural environment through: “Compost & organic trash-how it works and how to apply” (Module 15). Another added value of the ABLE platform is its implementation also into the Catalan language. The biggest challenge within this project was the realization of this platform in a form that is as permissible as possible to be accessed, the transmission of knowledge from each Module being achieved (after months of work, debates and feed-back from the beneficiaries) in a very affordable formula (self -assessment through Genially app implemented into the Platform at the end of each Modul). R3 -/ IO3 “My Story” - four books’ editions (instead of 3) entitled "My Story" with stories of women from Romania, Portugal and Italy (printed in national languages), stories realized after working into the ABLE Platform. -growing skills and abilities in working and collaboration at international level of our five institutional teams; -a growing self-esteem image of all our learners involved into the project activities (LTTA, community work, book implementation, work into the ABLE Platform); -implementation of 1 LTTA ABLE (learning process) organized for 20 coordinators of woman organizations from rural areas (4 days of work); - growing digital skills and knowledge (in ABLE Platform topics) for the 20 coordinators of rural women's organizations; -200 women from organizations in rural areas active in implementing the ABLE method for a personal and professional development; -on-line meetings (5) with woman organizations involved into the project for feed-back in working with the interactive ABLE platform; -working in direct meeting with women from rural areas (in site) for implementing the Platform ABLE in real life (with Drama exercises into the working sessions); -1 electronic collection of testimonies of women from rural areas (English) /selection of 12 most representatives’ personal stories; -1 Awareness permanent campaign (9 Multiplier events included) regarding the importance of personal development and empowering process in the life of women from rural areas.
