I exist with ART!
▶Summary
The main objective of this project is to synthesize recent theoretical advances in the field of arts education with innovative teaching methodologies adapted to early education environments, thus formulating an arts education curriculum for schools in Europe and Turkey. Existing early education institutions lack comprehensive arts programmes that address all areas of development, including those of disabled and disadvantaged students. We have created an arts education programme that integrates innovative teaching methods, techniques and materials designed specifically for early education.- Adapting the arts education programme to meet the diverse needs of disadvantaged and disabled pupils.- Designing a process-oriented and learner-centred assessment tool to evaluate artistic progress.- Establishment of art workshops - Adapting artgame activities for kindergartens,- Working closely with relevant organisations to develop comprehensive art education programmes -Developing activities that encourage family participation, encouraging a supportive environment for home learning- Develop 'green art' activities where science, nature and art meet,- Creating recyclable art materials.Implementing art therapy techniques to support menthal.
▶Objectives
Our collaborative project aimed to fill the gap in early childhood arts education by creating a standardized curriculum for kindergartens. Despite internal studies, a universal scientific approach was absent. Objectives included innovating teaching methods, enhancing teacher competency, involving families, forming partnerships, providing resources, ensuring inclusivity and digital adaptation, designing assessments, integrating digital platforms, infusing playfulness, utilizing art therapy, conducting mobile workshops, fostering organizational development, integrating with Erasmus+ courses, promoting sustainability, engaging professional artists, supporting school transitions, enhancing quality, increasing family engagement, contributing to academic literature, and fostering holistic child development. Ultimately, our goal was to develop an art education program and a book of tailored art therapy activities for early childhood education.
