Health is wealth
▶Summary
Passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and educating individuals on their myriad benefits, we were committed to addressing the diverse needs of target groups through strategic content categorization. Our focus spanned four content categories and two overarching themes: key competences and a youth strategy aimed at engaging, connecting, and empowering young people. By honing in on multilingualism, digital proficiency, interpersonal skills, and aspects of active citizenship and cultural awareness, we aimed to facilitate holistic growth among participants. In our pursuit, we emphasized the pivotal role of physical activity and sports, championing healthy eating options, fostering a connection with nature, and advocating for mental health well-being. Recognizing the detrimental effects of unhealthy eating habits in teenagers, our mission was to prevent and eliminate the risks associated with overeating or inadequate nutrition. We strove to raise awareness about the far-reaching consequences, including the heightened risk of diabetes, heart disease, cancers, and eating disorders. Acknowledging the manifold benefits of physical activity, we endeavored to protect against chronic diseases, aid in weight management, and well-being.
▶Objectives
The initiative, rooted in a strong conviction, championed the integration of a healthy lifestyle and sports activities as fundamental to education. Emphasis was placed on advocating for wholesome living, regular sports engagement, mental well-being, and positive thoughts. Recognizing the digital age, technology integration in education was underscored for adaptation. Active collaboration was actively sought among diverse stakeholders, extending globally to address the impact on health. Sports, acknowledged for physical, social, and economic benefits, bridged gaps for inclusive engagement, contributing to holistic health. Economic implications of regular physical activity were recognized, with a commitment to universal access and encouragement from an early age. The societal role of sports was highlighted as a unifying force, transcending societal divides. General project objectives extended beyond physical health to develop personalities and key competences, emphasizing inclusion, creativity, and community engagement. Specific objectives aligned with EU Youth Goal 5, focused on integrating physical activities, promoting healthier eating habits, and fostering awareness of the impact of food on mental well-being.

▶Impact
The project yielded both tangible and intangible outcomes, varying in levels and quantities across different phases. Participants acquired valuable content-related knowledge, life skills crucial for European living and working, and enhanced key competences such as multilingualism, digital proficiency, personal, social, learning-to-learn, citizenship, cultural awareness, and expression. Furthermore, organizational visibility and recognition improved significantly, leading to enhanced client services. The project facilitated formal cooperation with stakeholders, promoted intercultural dialogue among participating countries, and fostered collaborative innovation and knowledge-sharing practices. Direct project-related results encompassed the development of a logo, website, and multimedia presentations. The primary content outcome was the "Health is Wealth" mobile application, comprising four distinct categories designed to encourage a healthy lifestyle. The first category, "Let's eat for the health of it," focused on healthy recipes from Italian, French, Romanian, and Slovakian cuisines. It provided useful tips for promoting healthy eating habits among teenagers, covering aspects such as vegetarian diets, healthy drinks, eating away from home, and overall healthy eating. This information was compiled into a separate brochure available in both paper and digital formats. The second category, "Mental health is the new wealth," featured a collection of positive thoughts, inspirational quotes, and mental health techniques for daily well-being. Information about common mental illnesses was included, with a particular emphasis on stress management and positivity. This category was also presented in a bilingual brochure, accessible in both paper and digital versions and translated into the languages of participating countries. The third category, "The power of nature," included a collection of nature-inspired music and sounds, capturing different seasons, weather conditions, and ambient sounds from each participating country. This category was simultaneously developed in each country and compiled into a separate CD collection of sounds and nature music, utilizing various digital technologies. The fourth category, "Half an hour to stay fit," offered useful tips on home-based physical exercises, covering half an hour of training each day. The exercises were designed to be user-friendly and suitable for individuals of all fitness levels, promoting an active lifestyle. This category was also presented as a standalone outcome.
