The main objective of the Erasmus+ project HEAL-in-ONE is to improve the quality of online and hybrid learning and teaching in applied agricultural sciences through the implementation of active learning and teaching (ALT) methodologies. By doing so, the project aims to enhance student engagement, foster the development of subject-specific and 21st-century competencies, and ensure better alignment between learning outcomes, teaching strategies, and assessment methods. HEAL-in-ONE also seeks to strengthen teacher competencies in using digital tools and modern pedagogical approaches, as well as to support institutions in creating sustainable structures, such as the Centers for Quality Improvement. Furthermore, the project aims to modernize study programs by integrating ALT strategies and improving course design, delivery, and evaluation processes. Through international collaboration, training events, digital tool development, and dissemination of results, the project strives to build a vibrant learning community, ensure wider stakeholder engagement, and contribute to a more innovative, inclusive, and future-ready higher education in the field of applied agricultural sciences.
