FEMIN-ICT: Feminising the ICT sector by supporting and encouraging more women to take up ICT-related careers

We applied for this project to leverage our combined strengths and experience in addressing the multifaceted challenges hindering gender equality in the ICT sector. We are dedicated to promoting women, supporting their empowerment, and working with policymakers to create lasting, positive changes in the industry.
▶Objectives
Our objectives were: Promotion of Women in ICT: Our combined experience allowed us to develop strategies to enhance women's access and employability in the ICT sector. We aimed to address the situation of women in ict by implementing targeted initiatives that support them. Promotion of Gender Equality: As a consortium, we recognized the need to provide essential tools for fostering equal participation, representation, and treatment of women in ICT. Our diverse skill set enabled us to design comprehensive programs. Support and Empowerment of Women: With our collective resources, we provided direct support and motivation to women pursuing ICT careers. Our approach included mentorship programs, skill-building initiatives, and networking opportunities to empower women throughout their professional journeys. Supporting Existing ICT Businesses: Our consortium aimed to collaborate with ICT policymakers by creating a policy roadmap, leveraging our expertise to build and renovate existing policies. Our goal is to make these policies more inclusive and equal, supporting businesses in creating environments that foster diversity and gender equality.
