▶Objectives
We wanted to achieve the following goals: C1- to empower children with fewer opportunities for greater active participation in everyday life in kindergarten, the local environment and the EU; to teach them additional cooperation skills - to empower them in the areas of active participation, to raise their self-esteem, to understand their possibilities despite fewer opportunities; better equip them with skills and knowledge so that later in life they will be more successful, cooperate more easily, be more confident in their abilities and thus become more active later in cooperation in the local environment and in Europe. C2- equip educators with such knowledge and competences that they can offer children with fewer opp. a sufficiently supportive and active environment that would enable them to participate more, because dissatisfaction at the workplace and neglecting the feeling of happiness at the workplace reduces trust, respect and self-belief, in educational system, and this makes employees less adaptable to changes in everyday life, less self-confident when working with children and less active citizens. C3-we want both children with fewer opportunities and kindergarten teacher to create inclusive environment 4all.
▶Activities
The activities will be: - initial m.= the introductory meeting was first held in each participating partner organization, where we agreed on the selection and work-as professional colleagues to participate in LTT activities. At the internal meeting, we prepared material for the initial meeting (kick off meeting via the ZOOM application) of the two partner teams. Also, each partner internally prepared a basic plan for that task (responsibility). The ZOOM meeting was attended by all members of the internal team for the Erasmus+ project (8 members of the E+ K.Hrastnik team and 7 members of the E+ K.Rijeka team). - LTT activities took place twice in Hrastnik Kindergarten and twice in Rijeka Kindergarten. Each meeting had a common note - the acquisition of key competences of educators for happiness in the workplace and, consequently, to strengthen competences for working with children with fewer opportunities. -- international meetings for children with fewer opportunities (all on-line): we held a series of meetings with different children (individual, collective, group) on different (pre-arranged) topics. - management and project management; -dissemination with multiplicative; -HIGH5 Academy; -multisensory romm
▶Impact
We achieved the following results and outcomes: R1- adequate equipment of rooms and accessories for children with fewer opp. (for children with special needs, we arranged multi-sensory rooms for the development of all senses by including sensory integration; for children from socially weaker backgrounds - a socially and emotionally stimulating environment with a safe corner in the shared (sensory) room; acquired more children's literature in their mother tongue for immigrant children and arranged a corner for relaxed speech in the native language (supported by book and picture material); R2- we conducted training for 7 participants from the Hrastnik K. and 7 participants from the Rijeka K. under the title ambassador of the HIGH5 Academy. On 65-hour training, we prepared precise strategies for introducing more work happiness into every organization, founded 'Happy team' which as multipliers, further educate their colleagues about the importance of their own happiness and satisfaction in the workplace, which together ensure a more stable and strengthened employee, who is able to cope with daily changes and which is thus able to strengthen, among others, children with fewer opp. The website was created, which is publicly accessible.
