Objectives

All partner schools had the feeling that our students forget their own heritage, that they look down on the history and traditions of their country and region. We wanted to go back to our roots together with them and incite pride, of course, hand in hand with tolerance of other nations and a sense of inclusion in EU society. We have planned the topics and activities so that the students can process them with the help of teachers - searching for info, asking grandparents, finding out on the web, working with hoaxes, using mob applications, online platforms to create PPTs, videos, brochures, quizzes, vlogs, leadership short seminars for classmates, guest management, workshops for partners. In addition to the active involvement of pupils, our goal was also to motivate teachers and parents to pay more attention to this issue - teachers during the educational process (subjects, end-of-year trips, excursions, seminars) and parents by observing traditions, talking to children, organizing trips around their own country. Last but not least, we tried to maintain active cooperation in mixed groups, where students improved their language skills, learned tolerance, listening to others, accepting their opinions, improving their ICT skills.
