▶Objectives
By implementing the project;we wanted to ensure that teacher groups collaborate and share their experience and expertise in the field of environment,to transfer good practices,to research how schools operate at the European level and to apply them, to encourage the development of innovative methods,new technologies and new strategies on environmental education,to strengthen inter-institutional cooperation at the EU level to contribute to the development of the environmental education system,to increase students' awareness of natural resources at the EU level for sustainable environmental and living conditions,and to ensure that our students and all our stakeholders focus on environmental issues at the EU level. In addition,with this project,our teachers and students were introduced to European cultural history and school systems, providing them with the opportunity to expand their cultural horizons and evaluate their cultural richness.This enabled our students to develop awareness of protecting natural resources and the environment,to increase their concentration.Both in school life and after school, they learned to use new materials, tools and natural resources and had the opportunity to use them in their new experiences.
▶Activities
Most of the activities were carried out as collaborative studies.InTurkey mobility,"Ecological Handbook" was completed by students working collaboratively.The Project logo work was carried out by students and selected the project logo with an online survey.In Italy mobility,workshops were held for the environment-themed drama and the acrostic song activity,the lyrics it were written together by the students and they presented their performances.In Greece mobility,the workshop was held with the theme of "recycling",and mixed teams of partner schools students created products from waste materials,and a recycling exhibition and competition event were held.In addition,Seminars were organized on recycling, environment,exemplary practices in environmental protection,etc. at every mobility by Open Up Organization.In Spain mobility,we carried out collaborative calendar activity that visuals of each season prepared by students from different partner countries(themed about ecology and recycling)and also costume show was presented that was prepared from recycled materials by students.At local,every partner organized World Water Day,Environment Festival, Recycling Exhibition,Erasmus Corner,Erasmus Day events,workshops.
▶Impact
Ecological Handbook, Project song, Recycling themed calendar, activities aimed at reusing the recycled materials prepared by the students were organized. Concrete Results;Ecological and Environmental Hand e-Book e-Calendar,Handicraft exhibition, Theater Play, Choir and Songs,500students and 120teachers trained on the project,Website,Social media pages, eTwinning/Twinspace project,e-brochures for dissemination,Evaluation e-book forms and e-reports, 24teachers,8Scientists and 48student mobilities,8 information seminars,4Transnational Activities,Project logo and corporate identity,4 Erasmus+ Student Clubs. Abstract Results;Sharing experiences, adopting cultural differences,knowledge and experience gained by students and teachers,students' increasing skills and success,developing cultural awareness,foreign language improvement and measuring abstract results using interview, survey, test, observation and self-evaluation mechanisms.
