▶Objectives
The project targets were -To get about environmental problems and increase environmental awareness via the P4C philosophical thinking method, -To help the sustainable environment and climate goals by contributing to the solution of environmental problems, -To raise environmentally literate individuals, -To reorganize the human-nature relationship and to provide ethical values for the environment, -To introduce school staff to the field of environmental psychology, -To develop students' creative, critical, collaborative and attentive logical thinking and analysis skills via the P4C, -To recognize universal problems through international collaborative work, -To gain intercultural exchange experience, -To develop mental flexibility skills,the ability to use foreign language and students' digital skills, -To acquire universal ethical values, -To produce creative and flexible solutions for environmental problems and to develop problem-solving skills, -To contribute to the development of students' democratic life skills, -To develop students' skills in researching environmental and climate crisis problems and making risk analysis and evaluation, -To realize the environmental problems of our planet, -To provide environmental education.
▶Activities
Aromatic plants and organic agriculture gardens were created at school garden.worms were released into the soil and bilingual plant promotion posters were prepared. Recycling bins were prepared,natural fertilizer was produced by purchasing bokashi buckets. Augmented virtual reality videos on environment and climate crisis were watched. Concrete products on environment(3D T-shirt prints,posters,billboard works and presentations etc.)were created. Educational activities (a virtual book on environmental problems,a brochure of environmentally related idioms and proverbs,a webinar on the environment in our religion with parent participation,P4C sessions with our students and a Natural Soap Making Workshop) were carried out. Erasmus+ room in school building was made and student social clubs were created and they were enabled to actively carry out project work.P4C books were placed in room. Students attended the training titled "Conscious Consumption of Water" given by an agricultural engineer.Trips were organized to the Waste Water Treatment Facility,Botanic Park,Car Museum,Expo,BATEM etc. 81 City 81 Seed event was held. A cycling festival was organised. School garden was cleaned regularly. Automatic Irrigation System was made by coding
▶Impact
-Environmental awareness of education and training stakeholders was increased.School staff were introduced to the field of environmental psychology. -Contribution was made to the recognition of the environmental problems of planet, ranging from our immediate environment to distant areas. -Environmental education was given systematically at school for sustainable environmental awareness. -Contribution was made to the training of environmentally literate individuals through environmental training. -Via P4C, environmental awareness and awareness of environmental problems were increased. -A contribution was made to reorganizing the human-nature relationship and gaining ethical values for the environment. -Universal problems were recognized through international collaborative work. Intercultural exchange experience was gained.The ability to use a foreign language has been improved.Universal ethical values were realized. -Progress has been made in producing creative and flexible solutions to environmental problems and in developing our students' problem-solving, research, risk analysis and evaluation on climate crisis. -Contribution to the development of students' democratic life skills. -Students' digital skills had improvement.
