Objectives

The aim was to get to know other school systems and teaching methods and to reflect on your own everyday school life and possibly recognize advantages. The foreign language skills in English and the personal horizon should be expanded. Interest in new cultures and acceptance of them should be increased. Reading motivation should be increased.

Activities

Video lessons took place. At the exchange meetings, the respective teachers from the participating countries taught the students. Together we created a dictionary, an art project, puppets for individual fables and countries, schools and languages ​​were presented. The teachers had a lively exchange with each other in the afternoon. Video conferences took place to plan the projects and there was email and WhatsApp exchange.

Impact

English lessons were intensified and motivation and confidence to speak in another language increased. Reading motivation and other teaching methods were adopted and tried out by other colleagues. The students proudly presented their country and their works at the exchange meetings. At the exchange meetings, the respective students got to know the partner countries and were encouraged to read fables, fairy tales, etc.
