โ–ถObjectives

The SEN4CE project aimed to engage and empower seniors in the sustainable, digital circular economy, providing them with high-quality adult education and opportunities for lifelong learning. Targeting seniors aged 60 and above, the project delivered a digital training program on circular economy designed for easy adoption by adult education providers. A train-the-trainer program was also developed for professionals working in care and retirement settings, ensuring that the curriculum reached the target groups effectively. The main objectives of SEN4CE included: Empowering seniors to actively participate in sustainability and circular economy discussions, programs, and initiatives. Promoting lifelong learning through custom-tailored digital training materials on circular economy and digital tools. Fostering intergenerational knowledge transfer and building networks across sectors, including adult education and care. Achieving significant international impact by leveraging multiple multipliers and communication channels to reach a broad audience. These objectives were structured to have a substantial, positive influence on both local and international levels, enhancing seniors' role in advancing sustainability initiatives.
