Dance for life
▶Summary
All partners own a dance schools. They have noticed that there was an urgent need for a training for self-taught teachers. They need to improve their teaching skills while protecting themselves from injury. They need also to develop classroom management skills and enhances their artistic creativity. We also wanted to tackle digital transformation. Our project incorporates digital tools such as videos and digital books to improve dance teaching. Some of the management and events have been digitalized, and a musical film enabled participants to improve their way to create choreography and team management skills. We wanted to bridge intercultural, intergenerational and social divides: The ‘Dance For Life’ project tells the story of immigrants using dance to survive, promoting intercultural understanding and solidarity. It develops cross-cutting skills such as intercultural communication, human rights and civic engagement, while raising awareness of European opportunities such as Erasmus+. This part of the project allowed youngsters to practice what theyr learned while creating the movie from A to Z. Exchange of good practice on international level.
