Objectives

This project promoted the development of a Network of communication for supporting its aims and objectives in facilitating the exchange of ideas and creative thinking between school students interested in STEAME subjects, including high-ability students. This supports the aims of results of other related projects such as STEAME, STEAME GOES HYBRID, INNOMATH, E-I-STEAM, LEARN+ and more, for motivating students towards STEAME learning. This project results made the very first step in the change of education. The idea was to help school students to build up a community, which can be sustained progressively without much supervision and mentoring. The aims and objectives supported by this project were: 1. Exchange of talent support approaches and practices 2. Networking of Minds 3. Co-creation mind of state 4. Exchange Project Based Learning ideas 5. Promote Science Communication Skills 6. Effective Web-based Communications 7. Facilitate the cooperation between students from different regions and countries in Europe 8. Learning of European languages and Cultures 9. Developed a Network : European STEAME school students Network (ES3N) The project ran two main activities to achieve the above.

Activities

As a small project, all three partners contributed to all activities and results, including quality assurance, dissemination and reporting. The following activities were implemented: R1.1 An Online Community Forum of school students communicating and exchanging knowledge and ideas. R1.2 A motivation system through which school students can learn and co-create with other students in Europe and win prizes. This included the set up and management of the communication platform DISCORD. R2.1 Best presentations article proceedings of the project resulted from the online forum. Students were invited to submit an article to be published in the STEAME-STUDENT’s PLATO Digital Magazine (Volume 1 and 2 published). R2.2 Establishment of the first European STEAME School Students Network (E3SN) and first THALES Board of Mentors. - Quality Assurance Plan activities and Dissemination plan activites. - First physical project meeting, second physical project meeting and last physical conference type event to facilitate the kick-off of the European STEAME School Students Network (E3SN). Several online project meetings took place.

Result 2: A motivation system so students can learn and co-create with other students in Europe. Winning students were invited in a meeting in PL to develop the statute of the European STEAME School Students Network and Manifesto, presented in public with some 300 audience in Krakow, Poland. Additional incentives included: Presentations, Posting problems, via ZOOM communications, best articles published in the PLATO Magazine, opportunity for becoming an active leader in the board of the E3SN Network. Result 3: EUROPEAN STEAME SCHOOL STUDENTS NETWORK This included: First School Students Board physical meeting with elected chair and general secretary. Public press and Manifesto, Statute of E3SN. OTHER RESULTS DGPR through external legal service, Dissemination Plan, QA Plan.
