Both laboratory schools have, as one of their missions, to develop and further spread innovative approaches in education. In the project, we looked at similarities and differences between to nations and cultures, but also looking at the value questions from intergenerational perspective. With the pupilamong people. By getting to know the values, we led the pupils to proactive behavior and civic engagement. Through the activities, we created the conditions for the values ​​to become something concrete which can contribute to the improvement of the well-being of each individual and the entire learning community. We supported the development of pupils' key competences, especially civic, communicative, social and problem-solving competences. As the project was focused on cooperation with a foreign school with French - English learning program, it also supported the language skills of the pupils.

The strengthening of value education and democratic education in pupils through concrete activities was implemented during two project weeks at home schools and two exchange week-long stays, where pupils worked together on the topics of value education and implemented concrete activities, thereby creating symbolic bridges that support values ​​important to the community , both in the Czech and French contexts. Pupils had the opportunity to visit both laboratory schools and work on joint outputs. As part of the project, a multilingual methodology was also created with individual lessons and examples of student outputs. The theoretical starting points, methods and practical outputs of our project were described here. We also published 2 articles that describe the implementation of our project. During the project, pupils' outputs, their work and activities were published on the websites of both schools in the form of blogs.

During the project weeks, several concrete outputs of the pupils at both laboratory schools were created. During the first joint project week in Brno, thanks to the cooperation of pupils and external lecturers - artists, it was possible to transform the corridors of the school according to the proposals of the pupils themselves. During an art workshop, students created conceptual paintings on the wall at Labyrinth School. The students of the Labyrinth school, based on the the school's values, also worked with suggestions on how to strengthen harmony and respect in the school and created a relaxation corner in the study room for their classmates. At the Lab School Paris, a school band was formed as part of the project, which composed 2 songs reflecting the theme of values, and the lyrics of the song Bridge over Troubled Water were modified. During the joint project week, a joint final concert was held with students from both schools. During the entire project, the students and teachers of both schools were intensively connected, which was also reflected in the ongoing correspondence between the students or in the planning of further cooperation between the two schools (e.g. new project).
