โถObjectives
With this project, we wanted to provide teachers of apprenticeships and dual study with training with important skills for the future and show them ways in which workload-bearing procedures and processes can be digitalised and automated. We also wanted to address the changes in apprenticeships and dual study with training so that teachers can better prepare their apprentices for the changing labour market requirements. Our goal was to increase the digital skills and competences of educators, teachers and faculty members so that they can keep up with the increasing digitalisation of the education sector and the changing demands of the labour market. In this way, deficits in digital skills can be overcome and existing skills can be enhanced. The skills acquired are the keys to driving digitalisation in the education sector.
โถActivities
One of the main activities were design thinking workshops to plan and concretise the project goals and content-related topics. For this purpose, we evaluated the concrete needs, analysed market trends and identified synergies among the European partners in a total of 17 workshops together with our partners. This was followed by a total of 27 further activities, which were carried out in the form of online master classes or mentoring sessions, in some cases with the involvement of external experts from the field of digitalisation and education. Furthermore, all activities were planned, carried out and the results were recorded in a final document. In addition, 4 handouts with technical assistance were created.
โถImpact
The concrete output was the identification of trends and skills needed for future teachers for apprenticeships and training with studies. These include topics such as - blended learning - learning analytics - automation - collaboration - soft skills We worked out these topics transnationally in the team and discussed local application examples, which included concrete implementation ideas for the participating partners as an outcome. Furthermore, all activities were video-recorded to be reused as a source of information and inspiration later on. In addition, 4 handouts for teachers and faculty members were produced during the project and handed out to them.
