▶Objectives
1) To develop innovative, ICT based, methodology for enhancing the intercultural competences and skills of both teachers and students. 2) To emphasize the connection between cultural heritage, all school subjects and non formal education. 3) To stimulate collaboration between the participating countries through exchange of good practices. 4) To strengthen the profile of the teacher's profession and thus increase motivation for lifelong learning. 5) To encourage schools-youth organizations partnership. 6) To create toolkit (a guidebook for educators combines formal and non-formal education in different age group)
▶Activities
It was organized number of online trainings, eTwinning evens, project team meetings virtual and physical meetings for sharing good practices, presentations for the disseminations, work on evaluations, follow up activities, sustainability, sharing project results, logo competitions, educational workshops for teachers, educators, NGO representatives and students, outdoor and indoor activities for testing lesson plans, formal and informal innovative tools. 20-23 June 2022 -1st transnational meeting Germany 07-13 October 2022 -C1 The Short-term joint staff training events in Turkey 20-23 March 2023 - 2nd transnational meeting in Portugal Future School for testing lesson plans 24-27 September 2023- 3rd transnational project meeting in Greece 01.03.2022-01.03.2024 - Project Management and Implementation
▶Impact
It was created: 1) e-toolkit-Power of Education. 2) films, online virtual exhibition, tutorials 3) Newsletters to present the project results to the public audience/social media. It was developed: -lesson plans with innovative, ICT based, methods for enhancing intercultural competences and skills. -the network: schools- non-governmental organizations (NGO) partnership. The teachers, educators, youth workers, learnt the connection between cultural heritage, all school subjects and non formal education; They found out the power of combination of formal and non-formal education brings positive elements in educational system in different Target (age, with fewer opportunities, disadvantaged part of students) groups. They have upgraded the method of teaching and learning to avoided early school leaving and strengthen students' motivation to study, learn, think, and develop. The project stimulated collaboration between the participating countries through exchange of good practices. The project strengthened the profile of the teacher's profession and thus increase motivation for lifelong learning. The project brough new follow up partnership projects.
