▶Objectives
We wanted to convey the cultural differences to the students, make them think and encourage them to act sustainably. Through workshops, seminars, and research units, we aimed to broaden their view in the above-mentioned areas and reveal unknown paths in the field of sustainability, inclusion, and non-discrimination. Through the creation of the digital products and the exchange via the schools' digital platforms, digital skills were trained and competencies expanded.
▶Activities
This project involved two student exchanges lasting several days, many online meetings to get to know each other, and joint online workshops. In addition, the project was documented and communicated to the local population via press releases, the websites of the two schools and a public event. There have also been two planning meetings of the teachers involved in the project. In addition, a radio report was written, which was broadcast on the local radio station and can also be heard on various channels.
▶Impact
The students have made many experiences in the field of sustainability, inclusion and non-discrimination and have not only changed their knowledge, but certainly also their general attitude towards the above mentioned topics in a positive way. In addition, fears and prejudices of strangers and others were reduced. The multilayered and individual challenges were mastered by the students together with their teachers, so that the students have grown through the implementation of the diverse activities and the many encounters with formative people.
