Objectives

- Teaching and learning of foreign languages - Physical and mental health, well-being - Bridging intercultural, intergenerational and social divide The goal was to (re-)create bonds between families, peers and student societies as well as with the older generations whilst promoting physical and mental health. At the same time, of course, language teaching and learning was a central point to our tri-national gatherings.

• Getting to know each other and the city of Bremen (online activity) • Healthy and sustainable in the city (school exchange in Bremen, Germany) • Sporty and fit (online activity) • Sports and health (school exchange in Falconara Marittima, Italy) • Online food workshops (online activity) • Preparing nutritious and sustainable food (school exchange in Koluszki, Poland) • Three schools live - closing the project • Teachers' training and project summary • Project evaluation and dissemination

Impact

- 3 online activities during which students from 3 countries connected through online media and exchanged ideas on sports, nutrition, mental health, sustainability, etc. - 3 in-person school exchange trips, during which the students visited each other and experienced family life, school life, cultural events etc. in the respective host community (for example: visiting a sustainable farm in Germany, attending a trans-generational cooking workshop in Poland, taking part in a charity sports event in Italy) - a 3-episode podcast titled “Happy, healthy, sustainable – What do YOU think about it?”, produced entirely by the students - a series of cooking tutorial videos in which students exchanged local recipes - websites in which students presented themselves and got to know each other (using Padlet app) - a series of instructional training videos in which students exchanged tips on how to keep physically fit - etc.
