1. content: In terms of social policy, the pandemic has brought existing issues to the fore and given them greater urgency. Environmental policy and epidemic policy should know no boundaries. Conspiracy narratives, on the other hand, unfortunately know no bounds. In terms of content, we wanted to address this complex of topics with our activities in the project in order to counteract these tendencies in a targeted manner in youth work. 2. practical: The ideas, perspectives and practices developed in the project aimed to strengthen youth education policy multipliers and at the same time reach many young people in the project partners' countries. 3. organisations learning from each other: In the emergency situation of the pandemic, we successfully expanded or even created new digital communication options. A central goal of the project was to strengthen digital skills and knowledge in the field of data security and to bring them to the forefront of our youth work, especially with regard to work in rural areas. Overall, the aim was to expand and consolidate a loose existing international network of education policy associations.

The project partners each set up regional working groups with around 10 young people from their own ranks - the project activists. The central transnational activities were prepared and followed up in weekly or bi-weekly meetings and additional regional seminars. The core of the project consisted of three international face-to-face meetings and three international digital seminars by the project activists. Here, individual project participants provided input on the project topics, which were then discussed and further developed in terms of content and methodology at the meeting and over the course of the project. During the project itself, content and formats (e.g. workshops) were tested in public and the experiences were jointly evaluated. The accompanying topic at the face-to-face meetings was the question of how events can be held in the most climate-friendly way possible. An organisational shadowing session during the cultural summer season at I Badalischi in Italy made a particular contribution here.

During the project period, 14 multilingual texts and presentation scripts were developed on topics related to the coronavirus pandemic, which are documented on the project website https://youthoftoday.org/. On this basis, six public events were held by project participants in the project partner countries and five podcasts were produced during the project period. The project participants and organizations have undergone intensive further training on the use of digital media at various levels of educational policy work. This will play a special role in future educational work in rural areas. Climate policy aspects, particularly at events, have been reflected upon and will play an important role in future events. The active implementation of the project provided the participants with a practice-oriented learning space with an intercultural character, including language skills. The project partners have consolidated a loose educational-political network and have already planned a new project cycle on the topic of colonial history(ies) as part of the European Union's "Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values" (CERV) program.
