▶Objectives
The main objective of the project was for the participating organisations to become more inclusive and to bring more understanding and consciousness into the day to day school life and into providing qualitative education/services for each student in respect with the individual needs and capabilities. Respectively the project also aimed to seek possible ways to support teachers/ specialists through competence building, ensuring a good base of educational knowledge and resources, as well as enhancing well-being and motivation in the work-settings of the participating organisations. The project consortium expected the following outcomes and results: - Improved competencies among the educational personnel to notice, cooperatively and effectively solve challenging situations; - Students with diverse, including SEN, profiles being noticed, included, and supported according to their needs; - Inclusive and motivating teaching and learning environments in the participating organisations; - Diverse and inclusive studies where both teachers and students experience satisfaction and joy; - Gained experience, competence and confidence for further international communication and cooperation.
▶Activities
4 international mobility activities took place as planned: 1) International study visit in Spain, May 22 – 26, 2022 2) International study visit in Latvia, September 25 – 29, 2022 3) International study visit in Estonia, February 19 – 23, 2023 4) International seminar in Turkey, May 7 – 12, 2023 Each of the international mobility activities included 3 participants per each partner organisation, 12 participants in each group alltogether. Each international mobility involved a blend of familiar and unique participants. Additionally, during the whole project lifetime local level knowledge circles were implemented by all partner organisations in Estonia, Latvia, Turkey and Spain involving a wider audience of colleagues and stakeholders in the local settings. Partners meetings, including partnership kick-off and closure meetings, were held online using GoogleMeet.
▶Impact
The participating organisations compiled a toolkit of "Good Guidelines for Inclusion," which conclude some of the practice examples and takeaways from this project, in order to better communicate the learning outcomes among the participating organisations and wider, as well as to help to plan next strategic steps for a more inclusive and better functioning school environments.
