Objectives

Doughnut Economy, apart from the environmental and social care, addresses as well the need for a paradigm that would help to operate within the social and climate boundaries. It calls for the shift from the ¨business as usual¨ and addressing economical activity from another fresh perspective that truly, without green washing, takes the climate urgency into account. In order to do this, the approach is also concerned with the use of technology and digitalisation and urges a just, democratic and critical approach. Therefore, via this project partners made this innovative and internationally acclaimed economic theory better known and adapted to the Third Sector entities and informal and non-formal youth work and education. The main objectives were: 1. To increase 30 youth workers’ competences by an exchange of best practices in regard to sustainable entrepreneurship, technology and climate action according to Doughnut Economy theory. 2. To create a set of theoretical and practical youth work materials on sustainable entrepreneurship, technology and climate action according to Doughnut Economy theory in the non-formal education sector. 3. To increase communities awareness of sustainable entrepreneurship, technology and climate action.
