Summary

We applied for this project to address the pressing issues of gender-based violence and gender inequalities in society, which had been exacerbated by recent financial and health crises. Despite the progress made by the feminist movement in the past, we recognized a crisis in this area, with women continuing to experience injustices and inequalities, both personally and professionally. The project aimed to revisit the historical struggles of the feminist movement, emphasizing the journey of transforming women's freedoms into rights, deepening our understanding of equality, and fostering empathy. The alarming increase in violence against women, as reported by the WHO, underscored the project's urgency, given its severe physical and psychological consequences. By participating in this project, we sought to contribute to raising awareness about gender-based violence, promoting gender equality, and advocating for a more equitable and just society.

Objectives

By implementing the project, we aimed to achieve several crucial objectives. Firstly, we sought to enhance the skills of the target group through a series of workshops and the provision of high-quality educational materials. Our goal was to empower individuals within this group, facilitating their personal and professional development. Additionally, we aimed to raise awareness about pressing gender-based issues, ensuring that these critical challenges were brought to the forefront of public consciousness. Additionally, we endeavored to foster a sense of inclusion, acceptance, and non-judgment within the community, ultimately striving for a more compassionate and equitable society. Furthermore, our project aimed to improve access to high-quality learning content, making valuable knowledge more accessible to those seeking it. Collaboration with high-skilled partners was another key objective, allowing us to leverage expertise and resources effectively. Lastly, we aimed to promote the idea of Erasmus+ projects and the benefits they offer, encouraging participation and engagement in initiatives that drive positive change and empower individuals and communities alike.
