Objectives

1. Offer teachers an interactive and innovative diagnostic tool with which they can detect and work in the classroom on thoughts, prejudices and racist, xenophobic, sexist and other attitudes that involve discrimination against some people over others, emphasizing the privileges and hierarchies of some people over others and the consequences of this system. 2. Simultaneously provide a guide that allows teaching staff to address the problems analyzed in the diagnosis phase in the classroom from participatory strategies. The aim is to alert and make young people see the consequences caused by these discriminatory attitudes and their responsible role in the creation of a fair, inclusive and egalitarian society. 3. Promote among adolescents their creative capacity through a strategy of raising awareness and influencing their peers by scripting and staging a story through the recording of short films that serve to denounce and contribute to reversing situations of inequality and discrimination.

Activities

1. Development of diagnostic tools and educational materials. A questionnaire was created, divided into two blocks, with 29 questions, 14 related to issues of racism, xenophobia and other discrimination and 15 related to gender discrimination. Likewise, a teaching guide was prepared with activities to work on these topics in the classroom and with audiovisual literacy tools. A website was created to host all the content, with all elements being available in Spanish and Italian. 2. Sending information about the project to teachers in Italy and Spain so that they can launch the project. 3. Preparation of scripts and recording of short films. Two ideas were selected, one in Italy and the other in Spain to make two short films, one on the theme of racism/xenophobia and the other on gender. 4. Exchange meeting between the winning groups from both countries. A virtual connection was made so that both winning groups could meet and exchange opinions and experiences. 5. Dissemination of the winning short films in newsletters and social networks. Entries were published in the FAD and Exodus bulletins and the short films were broadcast on social networks.
