Objectives

The first objective was to obtain a better understanding of the obstacles that immigrants experience while trying to start their own business. The second objective was to gather all the information that migrants need in order to start their own business. The third objective was to give young migrants specialized learning opportunities to improve their entrepreneurial knowledge and abilities. When attempting to work for themselves in their new host nation, immigrants encounter several obstacles. They often have less success than natives in obtaining the knowledge, assistance, and resources they need to start their own business. They particularly lack understanding of the cultural business customs and legal system in their host country. Therefore, one of the objectives was to provide migrants with the knowledge, resources and abilities to use their untapped potential to launch their own business. Therefore, through enhancing migrant workers' entrepreneurial abilities, economic inclusion would result from increased employment and income opportunities.
