SDGsIY aimed at contributing to the creation of a suitable environment to make young people with and without disabilities aware of the environmental sustainability in the Sustainable Development Goals, promoting an active dialogue among EU young people with and without disabilities, building future active and aware citizens of the EU, enhancing at the same time an effective inclusion of PWD, enabling young people to play an active role in the community and the environment at local, European, and international levels. Specific objectives: SO1: SDGsIY provided youth workers with knowledge, competences, and skills to exploit digital tools to promote inclusive non-formal and informal education actions, pathways, and initiatives around GOAL 13 of the SDGs. SO2: increased awareness of young people and young people with disabilities on the importance of GOAL 13 by exploiting social media campaigns. SO3: increased awareness in local communities of the importance of GOAL 13, inviting youth workers and youth organizations to adopt the results reached.
