For AFRAT, the aim was to share a diagnostic study on the development of mountain skills and to see whether the needs were the same on the other side of the Alps, in order to adapt its training offer and open it up to a wider area. Secondly, AFRAT wanted to promote the internationalisation of its association by consolidating its trans-Alpine partnerships to develop joint training solutions. AFRAT has widely achieved these two general goals. For FMS, the aim was firstly to strengthen its capacity to implement concrete actions to ensure resilient adaptation to the effects of climate change in the Valle d'Aosta and, secondly, to reinforce the central role of mountain professionals in its actions. These two central objectives for FMS have also been achieved. Over these initial objectives, the project has enabled the organisations to get closer together, but above all it has enabled mountain professionals to meet, exchange ideas and share their experiences, what created interesting and rewarding interactions.

All the activities initially planned in the project were implemented within the allotted time. -WP 1 : This cross-functional activity throughout the project enabled the two teams to consolidate their partnership, set up shared working tools, manage project monitoring and ensure communication about the project. -WP 2: Drawing up an inventory. This inventory, based on the questionnaire carried out in 2021 by AFRAT and its results, was adapted and shared for the project. It was then circulated to Italian professionals, and the results were cross-referenced, analysed and summarized. -WP 3: Disseminating the inventory. A time of physical report was organised during the 'Festival International des Métiers de la Montagne' in Chambéry on 24/11/2022, in two parts: presentation of the inventory, followed by a round-table discussion with French and Italian mountain professionals. -WP 4: Creation of guidelines. The guidelines are the result of the organisation of two Franco-Italian workshops in May and June 2023. The themes, debates and contributions of the various participants helped to meet the project's objectives.

The project has led to a number of concrete achievements: •A project sheet •A questionnaire on the development of mountain skills •A brochure summarizing the survey •Two reports from the Franco-Italian workshops •A guideline The other results are : •Qualitative, because the project has enabled the two partners to really work together and get to know each other better, and also enabled mountain professionals from different sectors of activity to meet, exchange ideas and share their realities on both sides of the Alps. The result of this work has been the production of high-quality deliverables and the beginnings of a cross-border network of mountain stakeholders working on the adaptation of professions to climate change. •Quantitative, given the number of participants in the questionnaire, the feedback day in Chambéry and the Franco-Italian workshops.
