The Project objective is to empower visually impaired people in the field of communication, social and digital skills so that they can compete equally on the labor market when finding employment or changing jobs. The project "Unanimously to obtain skills" is aimed at increasing the competences of adults (18-50 years old) with visual impairment (blindness or low vision) who are members of the Croatian Association of the Blind and the Association of Associations of the Blind and Visually Impaired of Slovenia. By participating in the Project, visually impaired people will be better able to cope with the challenges they face today - lack of communication skills, insufficient and/or unsatisfactory social interaction, insufficient and/or inadequate digital literacy and overcoming language barriers in communication and everyday life.

Activity 1. PROJECT MANAGEMENT - administrative and logistical part of the implementation of the project activities (all the necessary actions for the safe and quality implementation of the activities). Activity 2. OFFLINE WORKSHOPS - 2 offline workshops with the aim of strengthening the communication, social and digital skills of people with visual impairment. The first cycle of workshops was organized in Croatia at the Hostel - Educational Rehabilitation Camp for the Blind in Premantura (Istria). The secound cycle of workshops was organized in Slovenia in Izola. The program included communication workshops in the context of job search and assertive/nonverbal communication; a workshop to strengthen digital skills (presentation of assistive technologies; LinkedIn; Apps; Resume; ) and various outdoor socialization and sports activities. Activity 3. ONLINE WORKSHOPS - 6 online workshops with the aim of strengthening communication, social and digital skills (LinkedIn; CV; the concept of entrepreneurship and self-employment, activities and opportunities offered within the framework of the European Union; possibilities offered by Microsoft 365.) Activity 4. INFORMATION AND VISIBILITY - informing the general public about the Project.

The implementation of the project ensured the following concrete results: - Increased communication and social skills of 33 visually impaired people - Increased digital literacy of 33 visually impaired people - The participants are more skilled in communicating in English - Volunteers gained experience working with visually impaired people - The applicant and Partner are empowered to implement the Erasmus+ program Additional results: - Exchange of experiences on employment opportunities between participants; - Easier overcoming of communication barriers and consequently greater relaxation when communicating in a foreign language - Increased network of social contacts and networking of blind and partially sighted persons from Slovenia and Croatia - Improvement of teamwork and group work and more efficient structured problem solving - Participants are better acquainted with the Erasmus+ program itself and the possibilities it offers - Active exchange of experiences and information about the legal, social and social position of the blind and partially sighted in both countries - Laying the foundation for further cooperation in new projects
