We wanted to give an educational experience to schools, teachers and students which emphasizes the importance and need for entrepreneurial mindset and innovations in the field of green tech. We wanted to bring two organizations together and exchange and collaborate by developing best outputs that can be used in regional and international context. We wanted to bring closer the local companies that are innovative and green with students who are interested in possibly working in those companies by developing innovative technologies. We wanted to raise awareness of students and schools as well about climate change and sustainable practices that are needed in order to gain new curriculums and new practical work in the field of green tech.

Our project team, comprising partner organizations from Croatia and North Macedonia, effectively managed the project and its activities. We designed a web platform and promotional strategy and opened new communication channels with our project's target groups. We created educational materials on entrepreneurship and innovation for higher-grade vocational students, which we disseminated via Google Classroom. We conducted 22 workshops across ten schools and provided teacher education in both countries. Students developed innovative solutions, which they presented in school and interschool competitions, receiving valuable feedback and advice from industry partners from both countries. We shared our project activities through various channels, including online webinars and onsite events with partners from other projects. Finally, we summarized our learnings in a lessons learned document that provides guidance for developing and implementing a student innovation competition.

Our project's results and outputs are a) developed educational materials which describe best practices, procedures and steps in organizing similar innovative competitions. b)developed a web platform where project organizations, partners and other stakeholders are mentioned and where all materials are open and accessible to others interested in the project. c) collaborated with 10 vocational schools from Croatia and North Macedonia d)implemented 22 workshops for students in Croatia and North Macedonia d)created 20+ students solutions which are sustainable and innovative e)organized 9 school competitions where students presented their solutions in front of local entrepreneurial ecosystem f)organized 2 inter school competitions where students and teachers from all school gathered and competed for best prizes g)gathered 8 partners from industries who are interested in student’s innovations in the field of green tech h)organized a 1 international event where we connected the teachers and stakeholders from those two countries on an online webinar and discussed the topic of innovation in the field of green tech with vocational students.
