The aim of the project was to develop the professional competences of the staff of both partner organisations and to improve the organisation through to expand the range of services offered by renewing the methods of community-development and by innovating the existing training courses. By learning from each other and exchanging good practice, organisations have identified opportunities which, if incorporated into their daily routines, will improve their effectiveness and prestige in the long term. Our aim was also to achieve results that would have an impact beyond the organisations themselves, through the revitalisation of the Carpathian Basin Folk High School Movement and the launch of networking. The results of the project are geared towards the development of the Integrated European Education Area, both by extending the range of services offered by the organisations and by building up the network of Folk High School, as it is tailored to the needs of today. The provision of training/courses as part of LLL, using innovative methodological tools, contributes to improving the knowledge of individuals in the context of adult learning, thereby improving their quality of life and enabling them to return to the labour market.
