Deprivation of the community and isolation have intensified through the events of the last 3 years (pandemic). The condition of communities is weakening according to the European indices, distrust and division are increasing. This has also been felt in the domestic communities. HACD, as a development organisation, feels a responsibility to seek answers in the changed situation, to offer new solutions to those working with communities and to the communities. New, innovative tools, powerful forms of impact are needed to revitalise communities in an increasingly deteriorating situation, for community leaders to regain hope and momentum of will to act. The HACD methodology is essentially a verbal, cognitive toolkit. This was extended and complemented with artistic tools, introduced to the participants and experimented in local communities.

Experience-based learning opportunities for community leaders, active community people to learn about the use of artistic tools. They got to know about the community creative processes and gained expertise. They tried it out in their own communities. Through personal stories, new competences were revealed in the process of co-creation, which supported the development of a common identity and cohesion (among the participants and in the communities to which we took them during the project). The methodology of the HACD has been enriched with a new method.

Grounding training - training to learn about and try out different genres and tools. Training for applying the artistic tools they have learned in communities. Mentoring in support of experiencing and application. Local events - practicing, gaining skills in application. Multiplication events – introduction of the artistic tools to new communities and professionals in an experience-based way. An e-publication was produced of the works created during the events. A film was made about the process - showing own experiences and results.

HACD has discovered and tried out a new method. Participants gained skills in its application (HACD). The members of the Playback Theatre Company learned about the use of artistic tools in the community (APR). They applied these tools in a new – comprehensive art-form in communities. 200 people, from several organisations and different disciplines, were introduced to the community application of artistic tools. New areas of application became visible. Communities, hosting the multiplication events, have gained experience of what it is like to exist as a creative community and see themsleves that way. This e-publication shows the possibilities to potential users - through the project's artworks. The film summarizes the experiences of the trainers and participants. This is a tool to raise interest in the method, it can be used to commit new interested people to apply it. The e-publication and the film have the opportunity to extend the impact of the project to an even wider audience. Partner organisations have gained experience in working together. They got to know each other's values and activities, their methodological knowledge and network of contacts were expanded. The development of a common language has started.
