Objectives

The project has innovated the tourism sector through the transfer of skills necessary for the creation of qualitative tourism offerings and tourism experiences that enhance territorial specificities. Specifically, the project made it possible to: -Increase the capacity of territorial co-programming between the public and private sectors. -Increase skills in digital marketing for the promotion of territories. -Disseminating methodologies to implement sustainable tourism.

Activities

The project to achieve its objectives has: - developed research on European good practices in experiential tourism and produced an informative compendium (toolkit) in Italian and English containing useful and technical information on the case studies. - created a training manual in Italian, English, and Serbian with a focus on the three cornerstones of experiential tourism: sustainability, promotional capacity, and public-private partnership for putting in place qualitative experiential tourism services. - Implemented training workshops in each partner country on: digital marketing and territorial promotion, public-private co-programming and sustainable tourism. - Implemented a communication campaign. - carried out three multiplier information events. - realized a final conference.

Impact

- A research aimed at analyzing the regional peculiarities of partner organizations and European best practices for preparing the toolkit. - A training manual on the skills needed to implement tourism experiences with a focus on digital marketing, public-private co-programming, and sustainable tourism. - Two courses implemented in the two partner countries. - 90 tourism stakeholders informed and trained. -12.000 people reached by the communication campaign.
