IN SINCRO

The project starts from the real issues affecting artists working in the dance sector, providing concrete answers to to the needs for continuous training, for opportunities for mobility and international visibility, for orientation towards their profession and employability, for combining their passion with social commitment. At the same time, the project was calibrated to respond to the need of people at risk of exclusion (young adult migrants in Spain and young adults without protection in Brindisi and persons deprived of their liberty in Italy) to have the opportunity to experience themselves through the expressive medium of contemporary dance also contaminated with other artistic forms. The project therefore serves to bring young artists, dancers and choreographers into contact and dialogue with people at risk of exclusion, in order to connect different qualities, aptitudes and vocations and to provide a concrete opportunity for everyone to be encouraged not to abandon their dreams and to discover and cultivate their talents in freedom, autonomy and awareness.

- To increase the capacity to develop innovative trainings and artistic production professional paths within marginal contexts that combine the need for artistic development of professional or semi-professional dancers with the need for social inclusion paths of adults in disadvantaged situations. - To increase the capacity of partner organizations to develop high-quality artistic products related to social issues. - To increase the visibility, employability and engagement of young dancers and choreographers and to increase the international visibility of the partner organisations. - To increase the capacity for international collaboration and inclusion in a European network of associations active in the field of performing arts applied to social intervention.

- Conducted 2 trainings on dance as an effective means for social inclusion and on the artistic career development. The trainings took place in Granada at the Fundacion Escuela de Solidaridad and in Brindisi inside the Prison. The trainings involved mixed groups of professional artists, dancers and choreographers and non-professional adults at risk of social exclusion. Young adult performers/educators participated as both trainers and students. - Mobility of senior choreographers and performers sent by their respective partners for artistic residencies and trainings aimed at the co-production of choreographies. - Realisation of the two dance performances on topical social issues. The public performances took place in Granada during the urban parade of the Festival Krearte (May '23) and in Italy in Brindisi inside the Casa Circondariale within the framework of the BPA Festival INDOOR section (August '23). - Dissemnination activities in Brindisi, aimed at the second performance open to the public and the dissemination of the project results in the presence of the press and local stakeholders and institutions.

- 17 (5 in Italy, 11 in Spain) artists, dancers, choreographers involved in the trainings improved their skills in the use of choreographic arts to produce performances linked to social issues and in the professional involvement of 14 marginalised adults (11 Italy, 3 Spain) in the training, creative and expressive processes, obtaining new artistic hard skills and improving personal soft skills. - 2 dance performances including choreographies co-produced with senior choreographers sent by partner organisations in their respective learning contexts were realised - 1 live performance of the show "A-social Dance" in Granada during the Krearte Festival organised by FES - 2 live performances of the show "Into-Spettri-Va" inside the Brindisi Prison as part of the BPA Festival organised by AlphaZTL. - Produced 1 video-documentary narrating the experience of the INSINCRO training course inside the Brindisi prison, 1 video of the artistic residency and 1 video of the live performance in Granada. - Produced 12 video reels on the dance training in prison for dissemination purposes on social networks. - Inclusion in an international network of organisations active in the performing arts applied to social intervention.
