Objectives The #SkateOverBarriers project aims to structure a training dedicated to educators who work with youth with disabilities using skating as a tool for inclusion (including gender), to share best practices, and to raise awareness on the topic of inclusion of youth with disabilities through ETS and skating. Activities The primary activities will be 3: -project management activities to ensure an efficient development of the project; -research phase of best practices in Spain and Italy to structure a training using ETS and in particular skating for educators working with disabled and non-disabled youngster; - a testing phase for the training and the organization of 2 final events to test the methodologies and raise awareness of the community on the issues of the project. Impact The project results will be: -a research on best practices in Italy and Spain on the use of skating as a means of inclusion and breaking down gender prejudices; -A training for educators working with young people with and without disabilities focused on the use of skating for inclusion; -dissemination and awareness-raising events that will promote inclusion and the breaking down of prejudices.
