“FESTIVALS, ART THERAPY AND YOUNG PEOPLE”

Objectives The objectives of FE.ARTY are - give visibility to the role of art therapies and youth workers –art therapists that works with young people at the onset of the mental illness - promote the dissemination of art therapy through flexible multimedia packages directed to a wide public/audience - Involve the territory and decision makers in the promotion of these methodologies for young people Activities The Activities: - PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION ACTIVITIES - two multimedia packages "ART THERAPIES IN MENTAL HEALTH FESTIVALS" and "TRANSNATIONAL PROPOSALS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE'S MENTAL HEALTH", that are part of a multimedia package "ART THERAPY IN MENTAL HEALTH FOR YOUNG PEOPLE" - STUDY VISITS - PEER LEARNING: "ART THERAPIES IN THE FESTIVALS" - TRANSNATIONAL PROJECT MEETINGS - MULTIPLIER EVENTS Impact The most important results of FE-ARTY are: -give visibility to the practice of art therapy as a tool for quick involvement of young people who are facing their first mental health problems; -spread a practice (art therapy, acted by youth workers) for young people with mental health problems, in conjunction with the established therapies of the mental health services, which are still based exclusively on pharmacological and verbal therapies.
