Objectives

We aimed to empower school educators from Finland and underprivileged regions in Lithuania by providing innovative, research-driven professional development. The primary objectives included: Enhancing Teacher Competencies: Introduce and integrate creative, interdisciplinary teaching methodologies that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Promoting Inclusivity: Bridge the educational gap between urban and rural areas by offering equal professional development opportunities to educators from economically disadvantaged regions. Encouraging Sustainability: Equip teachers with tools to foster environmental awareness and sustainability through artistic and digital ecological pedagogy. Fostering International Collaboration: Create a platform for knowledge exchange and cooperation between Lithuanian and Finnish schools, enhancing the educational practices through shared experiences. Developing Accessible Resources: Produce an open-source publication/platform, the "Creative Learning Toolkit for Teachers," to disseminate the innovative methodologies and lesson plans developed during the project. These objectives aimed to improve educational quality, promote inclusivity, and foster continuous professional development.
