▶Objectives
The aim was to introduce new training program in the field of AEM technologies that are non-existent on the market. The project was aimed to balance out the skill gaps in Europe and to provide the most recent knowledge and practices to individuals with educational background in: IT architecture, software development and IT analysis (aged 20-45). By offering skills demanded on the European market, the project aimed to foster employability, better salary opportunities and increased living standard.
▶Activities
Europe has a growing demand for software development services. The combination of a considerable shortage of skilled IT specialists and an increasing need for digital transformation and automation drives this growth. IT companies and experienced IT professionals from North Macedonia have been actively working for Western European companies, receiving high-end salaries. This trend has made the IT professions the highest paid profession in the country and has contributed towards raised living standard, encouraging young people to stay in North Macedonia. Whilst there has been an increase in the number of students deciding for a carrier in the IT sector, there has been a mismatch between demanded and available knowledge in different technologies. To address this gap, CodeIT Solutions from North Macedonia and IDA Mediafoundry from the Netherlands teamed up to apply their 15+ years of experience in the newest IT technologies and to transfer the knowledge to the young individuals having a career within the IT sector.
