▶Summary
The project was created in response to the need to improve key competences among seniors and adult residents, also in rural and semi-rural areas, covered by the activities of our organizations. In addition, the project is a response to the needs of educators in the field of new, innovative development of their soft skills and digital skills for adults and seniors, including those with low qualifications. The project also addresses the needs of low-qualified adults in terms of key competences by improving and expanding the offer of high-quality and attractive learning opportunities for this group. The main objective of the project was to develop innovative trainings to expand and develop the competences of educators in the effective teaching of key competences, including: digital skills, ICT, entrepreneurship, social skills, soft skills for adults with deficiencies or low qualifications through the use of culinary and intercultural heritage.
▶Objectives
The purpose of our project was to support: creating an added workshop offer increasing the participation of adults, seniors and increasing with it in terms of requirements except for soft products, creation, content creation, information, social and entrepreneurial skills for adults with these competences attached. including ICT, min. from excluded regions, by culinary heritage; 2. Development of a developed set/collage of universal recipes, care should be taken to combine the flavors of different countries and partner experiences, thanks to which the departure from healthy flavored nutrition, implementation beyond the framework of countries. Members learned how to introduce the ingredients of rational and healthy eating, as well as how to prepare meals in accordance with the "no waste" idea using various techniques, utensils and culinary spices depending on the country, and also acquired skills in the field of household budget management, using the information Updating the already acquired knowledge, organizing the time of earning, increasing independence and self-service skills at the same time. During the activities, we initiated the process of lifelong learning, emphasizing each of these stages.
▶Activities
As part of the project, 3 mobilities were carried out in the form of workshops involving the exchange of experiences: in Spain, Lithuania and Poland. Each was attended by a group of 15 people from each country (10 seniors/adults and 5 educators). The main recipients of the activities were trainers, adult educators as well as members of organizations and learners who wanted to develop their key, soft competences. During the workshops, the basis for a collection/collage of culinary recipes was prepared and materials for the prepared curriculum were collected. During the implementation of the project, local manufactures were visited, integrated with local social groups (e.g. KGW, local government authorities, etc.), learned about the history of the visited regions and their customs, as well as traditional dishes, spices and methods of their preparation. During the meetings in Poland, a summary conference was organized in cooperation with the Ciechanów City Hall, during which project assumptions, activities were presented and culinary lectures entitled "Mazowiecka Micha Szlachecka", the implementation of the zero-west idea - "Communities do not waste" and issues related to nutrition - "Regional cuisine and dietetics".
▶Impact
The direct effects of the project activities are: 1. an innovative workshop offer developing the competences of adults, seniors and people working with them in the field of training in key competences, soft skills, called "Methodology of an innovative workshop offer developing the competences of adults, seniors and people working with them"; 2. an innovative collection/collage of universal recipes, which is the result of combining the flavors of different countries and the experience of partners, thanks to which healthy flavor compositions were created, going beyond the borders of countries, entitled "Collection of Polish-Spanish-Lithuanian culinary recipes". Additional results of project activities include the acquisition of various types of skills, including: digital skills, content creation, information, the use of various types of Internet applications, social and entrepreneurial skills, as well as household budget management, effective organization of free time, in every aspect of everyday functioning, updating possessed knowledge, using new tools and looking for current solutions, most adequate to reality, in order to remain in constant development without stopping at the achievements of formally completed education.
