โ–ถObjectives

The driving force for the implementation of the project are its participants, people with disabilities and special needs, people at risk of poverty or social exclusion, professionally inactive, requiring social and professional activation, with various levels of education. In line with the guidelines of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, project will play a key role in promoting disability as a human rights issue. It aims to highlight the importance of international cooperation in its implementation, delivering development assistance in such a way that it is accessible to persons with disabilities and takes into account their needs. The inclusion of persons with disabilities is an important principle of development cooperation. People with disabilities are more likely to live in poverty, which makes them more vulnerable to ill health and often unable to afford necessary care. They are more exposed to violence, prejudice, which leads to their exclusion from society. It is important to support adaptations, modifications and alternative service delivery models to accommodate the needs of people with disabilities.
