Summary

Thanks to the implementation of the project, a method of cooperation was developed with an international organization, Project Partner-Foundation Novareckon srl. Until now there were no projects in international partnership , in which the Foundation was a participant. The fear of international partnership was overcome, the parties cooperated with each other at every stage. Establishment of relations allowed strengthening of English language skills among the staff of the Leader -Puławski Center for Entrepreneurship. The lessons learned will be the basis for work toward offering various forms of support for seniors and establishing more local and international partnerships. Thanks to the funding, it was possible to provide training support to seniors from the county of Puławy in the area of acquiring or improving skills in the use of available and popular applications and prevention of cybercrime. The result of the project is, among other things, a report on a survey of seniors, in the area of handling and using the Internet. The survey identifies areas for further cooperation with the senior community and with local government and the third sector toward programming support for people over 60.

Objectives

The aim of the project was to activate 50 people aged 60+ living in the county of Puławy, through the implementation of activities contributing to increasing the skills of using modern technologies, dissemination of technological solutions conducive to social inclusion and safe functioning of these people in the network. Thanks to the implementation of the project strengthened local cooperation with the local government , as well as organizations operating or centered around the senior community. As part of the project, a survey of digital activity of 151 seniors was conducted, which provided the basis for the development of the survey report available at www.fpcp.org.pl , a workshop for seniors , a workshop for trainers and a closing meeting was held for 80 participants, including NGOs. Through the proposed forms of support, the Foundation strengthened its position as a Leader in the local market in the field of training assistance for seniors among NGOs.

Activities

As part of the project, a survey of digital activity of 151 seniors was conducted, which provided the basis for the survey report available at www.fpcp.org.pl , a workshop for 50 seniors was conducted , a workshop for 5 trainers and a meeting was held to summarize the assumptions of the project for 80 participants, including NGOs and local government institutions. The survey of seniors' activity in the area of mobile applications and their use in everyday life also included information on the possession of a trusted profile by residents of the Pulawy district 60 + , so as to assess the mobility of seniors in handling matters of everyday life through e-puap. The survey covered 151 people 60+ residing in the county. 151 people, 32 men and 119 women, participated in the anonymous survey. The leader conducted 5 workshop groups of 32 hours each on the use of tablet, iphone, popular applications. A total of 40 workshop days were organized, attended by 50 people(each group of 10os. 8 meetings, 4 hours per day). The partner organized a workshop for 5 Leader trainers on cybercrime and knowledge transfer skills for adult trainees.

Impact

Thanks to the implementation of the project, the participation of people 60+ in all areas of social life has increased, thanks to the acquired knowledge and skills to use modern devices and technologies. 1 The number of people 60+ who have acquired or developed digital competencies as a result of the support provided -50 people; 2. number of Instructors who will acquire knowledge and skills on how support is implemented for the target group in the Partner's country- 5 persons; 3. number of participants in the closing meeting- 80 persons; 4. number of realized hours of workshops for seniors-40 hours; 5. report on the study of 151 seniors - 1 piece Polish and English version. 6. dissemination of the idea of counteracting digital exclusion of people aged 60+ in the county of Puławy among institutions, authorities and entrepreneurs operating in the county during the project implementation period through participation in meetings, constant contact with institutions/organizations, posting information on the websites of both organizations participating in the project; 7 Strengthening public awareness of the residents of the county of Puławy and other institutions and authorities regarding initiatives to counteract digital exclusion durin
