Nowe otwarcie we współpracy polsko – greckiej, poszukiwania sposobów podnoszenia jakości oraz nowych odbiorców w edukacji dorosłych.

The implementation of this project is the next step in building of international dimension of our cultural activities. Our main goal was to renew cooperation with the Greek partner and develop mutual future activities aimed at the expansion of our organizations. The involvement of management, educational staff and adult participants in the project creates opportunities to exchange experiences, verify implemented solutions, search for new ideas and look at the multiple issues from different points of view. Having common goals, project partners during mutual activities will gather information on improving the quality of educational and cultural classes and they will search for various ways of attracting new adult recipients. The most important things are sharing experiences and possibility to look from a different perspective at the way how our organizations are functioning. Thanks to the opportunity of participation in the project, adult participants will spread the idea of "lifelong learning" and they will be highly motivated for further development.

At the starting phase of this project, we have planned various activities aimed on achieving our goals. One of them was to expand the international dimension of MOK's activities. Building relationships and cooperation with the YouthEducationalAssociation from Korinos created further opportunities for international cultural exchange. Meetings and workshops were focused at getting to know each organizations better, presenting our offers, exchanging experiences in organizing various educational activities, planning mutual initiatives in adult education, as well as learning about the history and culture of our countries. During international meetings, participants have searched for new ways of reaching to a wider group of adult recipients and also how to regain lost participants, mostly due to the pandemic reasons. The main goal for joint discussions was to exchange experiences and to find new, innovative ideas for adjusting educational offer to the needs of people that will attend at those classes. Another important goal was to improve the quality of adult education and promote the idea of "lifelong learning". The project was focused on motivation of participants to continuously develop and improve their skills and competencies.

Two activities were carried out in the project. The first one was an international meeting in Greece, the second one in Poland. During both international exchanges, a various activities took place, such as: study visits, thematic meetings, workshops and classes with adult participants, as well as sightseeing and learning about the history and culture of the visited country. The project participants during many meetings have taking part in different activities such as ceramics, photography and folk dance workshops. Project participants held meetings with the authorities of our partner cities, during which they have discussed about adult education and the development of our organizations. Moreover, a meeting of participants with a group of local community with Greek roots was organized in Police, during which they have discussed about how to start activities and promote Greek culture in this community. All those meetings were full of discussions and conversations on issues related to improving the quality of the educational offer and acquiring new adult recipients.

Project activities resulted in two successful international exchanges, with many meetings, workshops and activities with adult participants. The project partners actively shared their knowledge and experiences, while learning about both the organization's functioning patterns and the educational and cultural offer. After study visits and meetings, conclusions were collected indicating that, despite organizational differences, we are facing similar challenges and we can learn from each other's experiences. The most important and common points for our organizations are the acquisition and participation of new adults in cultural and educational activities, as well as the need to develop and improve the quality of the offer. A list of ideas and ways how to reach and acquire adult recipients has been developed, which will give us a direction for the further development of our organizations. Moreover, meetings were held with the authorities of our cities, during which they have discussed issues related to the adult educational needs as well they were emphasized in accordance with the idea of "lifelong learning". The great value of this project is enriching participants with new experiences and motivation for further development.
