Summary

We applied for the project because we participated in the performance of adults, other people with fewer chances of performing in adulthood. The aim was to establish cooperation of the Local Knowledge and Education Center for adult education in the Biecz Commune with foreign partners and to renew the cooperation established in 2017. We assumed that we would introduce seniors to participate in this high level event. We wanted to arouse interest in the cultural heritage of Poland and Slovakia and learn about UNESCO monuments in both countries. The project was made available to participants: closeness and combating loneliness, inclusion/restoration to community life, co-creation and being appreciated, co-operation, maintaining relationships with other beings, including the previous generation. We wanted, through the staff of partner organizations, by crossing good and enriched experience, learned new methods of working with adults, including non-formal education. We also wanted our seniors to take part in strengthening the credibility that we have our own capabilities and greater activities, by getting to know seniors and their support from the city, and learning about new methods of educating seniors.
