▶Objectives
Our main aim was to enable the students to reflect upon the strengths and weaknesses of our social, cultural and economic environment and the possibilities linked to living in such area; at the same time, a comparison with students living in different areas of Europe would have been beneficial in getting to know the different challenges and opportunities other young people have. What is more, better competences in the English language, a deeper knowledge of different cultures and customs, and an enhancement of their socialization skills were also on the cards. Very important aim was also to make human life easier by implementing projects and generating wealth, to have ideas on other issues and improve the education and training quality. The students analysed their own desires, their personal skills, they increased their flexibility and align to the concept of continuous learning and of flexible career options, developed their adaptability to labour markets in the three levels: local, national and EU. The project created a special context for participants to develop their interpersonal and communication skills, life and soft skills. Transnational cooperation gave rise to new visions that can support and promote new ways of working.
