▶Summary
The need to establish a network of foreign contacts to increase the European dimension of the school. This collaboration aimed to develop a long-term and fruitful cooperation beneficial for students, teachers, and their immediate environments. The school aimed to gain a competitive advantage in the educational market. Having an international Erasmus project would make the school more attractive to primary school leavers, thereby increasing student enrollment and enhancing the school's reputation There was a need to broaden students' horizons by exposing them to new places, cultures, and international teamwork. This exposure was seen as a critical factor in their personal and academic development, particularly for those not typically exposed to multicultural environments. The project aimed to include less privileged students by providing them opportunities to travel, overcome inhibitions, and gain confidence. This focus on inclusion was essential for fostering creativity and self-expression among all students.
▶Objectives
To reestablish and strengthen international cooperation among partner schools, facilitating the exchange of good practices and experiences. To increase the school's attractiveness on the local educational market, thereby attracting more students and improving its reputation. To exchange knowledge on educating about environmental sustainability, addressing issues such as climate emergency and biodiversity loss. To prepare teachers to tackle future challenges related to the environment, politics, and society, ensuring they can educate the next generation to drive change and be heard in decision-making processes. To help students connect with the natural environment and their local communities, fostering a sense of responsibility and engagement.
▶Activities
Workshops and panels for teachers to develop a cross-curricular approach to teaching social and environmental issues. Organizing student exchanges and mobilities, allowing students to visit partner schools and participate in joint activities. Establishing MakerSpace gardens in each school where students plant fruits, vegetables, and herbs, promoting hands-on learning about sustainability. A study visit to the European Parliament to explore the Green New Deal, budget permitting.

The project achieved several tangible and intangible outcomes: Memory File: Creating a memory file documenting the project's activities and achievements. Environmental Impact: Increased awareness and pro-environmental habits among students, such as saving water and electricity. Improved School Atmosphere: A better atmosphere within the school, improved relationships between students and teachers, and fewer cases of bullying. Enhanced Teacher Skills and Motivation: Teachers gained new skills, knowledge, and job satisfaction, leading to better performance and self-evaluation. Increased Media Coverage: The project received coverage in social media, and websities enhancing its visibility.
