Step To Anti-Bullying With Philosophy And Non-Violent Communication
▶Summary
We applied for this project to address the pervasive issue of bullying in educational settings. Our partners, despite their efforts, lack comprehensive methods to combat bullying effectively. By sharing experiences and adopting innovative techniques, we aim to enhance our capacity in fostering inclusive and peaceful schools. The pandemic-induced interruption of traditional education presented a unique opportunity to curb bullying, as evidenced by reduced occurrences during this period. We seek to capitalize on this by implementing sustainable strategies to maintain this decline and further diminish bullying rates. Additionally, with the growing prominence of distance education, we recognize the need to educate educators on addressing bullying in virtual settings. Our project employs Philosophy for Children (P4C) and non-violent communication techniques to instigate lasting changes in how bullying is perceived and tackled. Through educational content creation, training, and active engagement with stakeholders, we aspire to cultivate a more peaceful learning environment and foster improved relationships among schools, students, and parents.
