The Heritage and Adult Education
▶Summary
In both Romania and Croatia there are hundreds of museums and thousands of organizations operating in the cultural sector and carrying out educational activities. Their target audience is usually formed by the students and the "hard core" of connoisseurs, in terms of attracting adults to activities, including low-opportunity categories, being recorded only timid attempts. In addition, although in the museum area is a long and rich in national and international collaboration in the field of cultural heritage exchanges and traveling exhibitions, we do not know, so far, about an initiative that would bring up the issue of collaboration in the field of adult education. Moreover, in the Romanian case, there are just 6 museum that have implemented E+ adult education (AE) projects, all of them being focused on the collaboration with AE providers and NGOs, not on collaboration with other museums in order to exchange good practices acquired and developed into this field. Therefore, our initiative comes with the idea of collaboration at an EU scale among museums (not leaving aside other types of organizations) in the field of AE, using the cultural heritage as a resource, the base need for the partners being to adapt their educational offer
