Green bridge for future

We applied for this project being driven by several desires and needs identified at our school level. First of all, the school has never been involved in an Erasmus+ partnership project before. Doing the needs analysis, we found that more than 90% of the school's students did not leave the country border, many of them did not travel more than 80 km from home. We also wanted to form a framework in which students could develop skills they had not achieved in the existing framework and, at the same time, manage to add value to their personal development. Then, the idea of the project also resulted from a need identified among the target group: developing responsible behaviour, protecting the environment and fighting climate change. Educating the younger generation in the spirit of sustainable development is a sine qua non of today's society, as many students demonstrated shortcomings in this area before the project was implemented. Thus, in order to be able to develop a strong learning framework, we needed partners who could provide complementary elements, and this has happened; the partnership formed has provided rich learning experiences.

By implementing this project we wanted to achieve the following objectives: - develop a sustainable behaviour for 50 students from the three partners schools by the end of 18 months of project; -develop to the participants from the three partner schools the ability to explore responsibly the local natural and cultural heritage by the end of 18 months of project; -create European collaboration activities based on the three pillars of sustainable development; - increase students' ability to use technology, English language and their creativity in the implementation of the activities;

In our project we implemented the following activities: - Management activities; - three transnational mobilities: each partner school hosted the mobility of students and teachers from the partner schools as follows: Learning activity for students - Italy (Fermignano, 2nd-8th October 2022), Learning activity for students - Romania (Roșia, 26th March - 1st April 2023), Learning activity for students Turkey (Kumluca, 7th-13th May 2023) - Realization of the learning curriculum and the brochure; - Final dissemination event; In addition to the main activities of the project, we carried out local activities related to preparatory activities (creating and choosing a logo for the project), as well as activities aimed at raising the awareness to the importance of environmental protection, and during the summer holidays all the students who are part of the target group exchanged letters in order to get to know each other before the transnational mobility, which was a major advantage in the dynamics of the group.

The concrete outputs and results of our project were: Tangible results: - brochure "Green bridge for future, do something that matters", bilingual edition ISBN 978-606-707-551-9 (collection of examples of good practices identified at the level of each partners school and community, as well as strategies of developing suatainable behaviours for a green planet); - Learning curriculum "Sustainable communities, Education for the future" - optional course on ecology and sustainable development that can be integrated in the curriculum of each partner school; - Facebook page "Green bridge for future" https://www.facebook.com/GreenBridge4Future and YouTube channel https://youtube.com/@greenbridgeforfuture8851 , videos - eTwinning project on the old platform; - green spaces adopted in each community; - the students’ works: presentations, films, drawings, testimonies, posters, logos; - brochure "Green stories from a magical land: Rosia", ISBN 978-606-707-532-8 Intangible results: - New competencies; - good practices exchanges; - the learning experiences; the improvement of the English language skills of students and teachers; - the international experiences of the students; acculturation - the international friendships;
