Objectives

By implementing this project, our main objectives were: -Create an interactive 3D environment that represents a virtual campus. -Integrate this environment into their training platform that serves as an introduction to the services of this platform. -Design the environment in a light way, to give access to as many users as possible, and with a modern and attractive appearance. -Create several versions for different devices. By achieving these objectives, our aim was to enhance the vocational training experience for students by providing them with an interactive and immersive virtual environment. This would enable them to acquire and improve their skills effectively and efficiently, while also attracting more learners to vocational training. Ultimately, we sought to bridge the gap between traditional training methods and virtual reality-based education, ensuring high-quality vocational education in an accessible and engaging manner.

Activities

The project activities implemented within the eligibile period were: A1. Needs analysis A2. Materials review and script development A3. Pilot model development

Impact

The conducted activities within the project have yielded concrete outcomes and achievements that align with the project objectives: Needs Analysis: The analysis of digital tools for education has resulted in the identification and selection of tools that facilitate the creation and management of educational materials in a digital format. This outcome ensures efficient content development for the virtual campus. Materials Review and Script Development: The review of didactic material and gathering of relevant content have laid a solid foundation for the virtual campus. Documents describing the content and functionalities of the application provide guidelines for creating a high-quality learning experience. Pilot Model: The development of the pilot model, in collaboration with a specialized IT company, has produced a basic prototype of the virtual campus. It includes a classroom, customizable avatars, interactive screens for streaming videos, and a web visualization blackboard. Delivery of the prototype marks a significant milestone in achieving the project's objectives. These outcomes demonstrate progress and success in creating an interactive 3D environment that enhances vocational training.
